Frederic Burk School Girl Climbing the Farm Gate

A Frederic Burk School girl, her hair tied in braids, climbs up the metal farm gate, looking out toward the cattle gathered near the barn. Her jacket and rolled-up jeans capture the casual style of the day, while her careful grip and balance show both determination and playfulness. Beyond her, cows stand quietly, grounding the scene in the rhythm of farm life. This simple image highlights a child’s adventurous spirit against the backdrop of the working barnyard.
