Gator Cheerleaders Perform Before the Crowd, Cox Stadium, 1967

San Francisco State College cheerleaders perform along the sideline during a 1967 home game at Cox Stadium. Dressed in sweaters bearing the college’s “SF” emblem, the cheerleaders raise pom-poms mid-routine as their skirts flare in motion. Behind them, a lively crowd fills the bleachers, with members of the school band visible among the spectators. The image captures the rhythm, enthusiasm, and school pride that energized Gator football weekends in the late 1960s.
