After launching in 1968 with a store in Southern California's Woodland Hills, Jeans West began to expand. By early 1970, the purveyor of hip fashion trends like bell-bottom jeans had hit San Francisco, opening a new store in Jackson Square.
These Jeans West commercials were produced at and aired on KSAN, the legendary "Jive 95" freeform rock station. The commercials were found on a reel of audiotape in the archives of the Bay Area Radio Museum and Hall of Fame and digitized by volunteer Andrew Welburn.
