This commercial was edited from an aircheck featuring Dick Van Cleave. His comment after the spot ran, referencing "Merle", makes it clear that the voice is that of Merle Ross, a mainstay at KSRO for many years. Ross was inducted into the Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame in 2026.
