Gensler-Lee Diamonds Commercial (Jingle and Bed)

Jeweler Gensler-Lee was established in San Francisco in 1901 by Ralph C. Lee and G.J. Gensle The company grew into a large regional chain with multiple locations across Northern California cities including San Francisco, Sacramento, San Jose, Stockton, Modesto, and Palo Alto.

Gensler-Lee's radio commercials flooded stations targeting younger demographics in the 1960s and 1970s. The memorable jingle declaring Gensler-Lee "The Store With a Heart" seemed to be everywhere.

Presented here is a version of the commercial without specific copy. A radio station production department would have added the recorded "read" by an announcer, with the musical bed running beneath.
