Chambers Brothers KSFX Station ID

Radio personalities often asked visiting performers to record customized station identification messages. This one features the psychedelic soul act The Chambers Brothers, who were in San Francisco for an April 11, 1975 concert at Winterland Arena.

This station ID was customized for Dusty Street, who had shifted from KSAN to KSFX earlier in 1975. Street, a notable early female disc jockey, was inducted into the Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame in 2015.

The recording is from one of several reels of audio tape containing Dusty Street's work held in the archives of the Bay Area Radio Museum and Hall iof Fame.
