Streeter & Quarles was co-founded by notable Canadian ski figure Les Streeter and Jim Quarles. During its peak in the late 1960s into the early 1970s, the brand catered to upscale winter sports enthusiasts and fashion-forward outdoor shoppers, operating marquee locations in major metropolitan centers.
The downtown San Francisco store was on Sutter Street; the company ran a location on Tiburon's Boardwalk as well.
This commercial was found on a reel of audio tape created at KSAN, indicating the coimmercial was produced in-house for airing on the station. The audio was digitized by volunteer Andrew Welburn.
