Sheila Rene Backstage Episode 5 with U2 and Steve Hackett

Sheila Rene Backstage was the work of pioneering rock interviewer Sheila Rene. These programs aired in 1981 and 1982 as a syndicated broadcast. San Jose station KSJO was the flagship station.

In this episode, Sheila Rene's guests are members of the band U2 as well as guitarist Steve Hackett.

Most interviews were recorded while artists were on tour in support of their latest releases. The programs offered here were digitized from reel-to-reel source tapes by Paul “Lobster” Wells at his Flow Communications studio in San Francisco.
