Lucky Lager Beer Commercial "It's Lucky When You Live in California"
Lucky Lager Beer Commercial "It's Lucky When You Live in California"
About This Item
Lucky Lager was a popular beer brand launched by San Francisco's General Brewing Company in 1934.
The company made much of the fact that the brewing date was stamped on every bottle and can. Lucky Lager would be a heavy user of radio advertising, including the Lucky Lager Dance Time show created in the 1950s and aired in about a dozen Western radio markets.
This commercial message features a singing jingle interspersed with copy read by a male announcer.
