About this collection

This collection contains announcements, fliers, and recorded material from the many hundreds of events that the Center for Iranian Diaspora Studies hosted from its inception in 2017, right until its closure in 2025. Some of the events were in-person, while others, particularly during and after the pandemic were held online on zoom. It also includes recordings, photos, and promotions for the two conferences that the Center hosted/co-hosted: 1) “Forty Years & More: International Conference on Iranian Diaspora Studies” held at SF State on March 29-30, 2019, and; 2) "The Iranian Diaspora in Global Perspective Conference" held at UCLA on February 23-24, 2023 (co-sponsored with the UCLA Middle Eastern Studies and Iranian Studies, and the Iranian and Persian Gulf Studies Program at Oklahoma State University) along with the Center for Iranian Diaspora Studies.
