Story
This is a classic comedy about a woman’s triumph over her narcissistic husband. The play starts with the death of Kazem Ashtari, a mediocre Iranian filmmaker. Kazem has always been delusional about himself and his talents. Mahin, Kazem’s wife, who has been repressed and ignored by her husband, takes her revenge not by fighting, Shafagh, her husband’s lover, but by trying to make her an alley in her endeavors. Atefeh, Kazem’s daughter, is torn apart about her loyalty to her deceased father and mother. Can Mahin make an alliance with Shafagh and Atefeh? There is a huge surprise in the third scene. This is a play about revenge, female bonding, and the triumph of the repressed women!
