Story: “The Porn Collection” is a series of collages of various genders and sexualities in graphic porn scenes and/or boudoir looks. This tank top has one of his collages printed onto it and was created in response and protest of then-Mayor of New York Rudy Guiliani’s rapid gentrification of the city. The process included the shuttering of sex shops all along 42nd Street. Mortezaie collected porn images, magazines, etc. from these businesses to create each collage and the subsequent garments they were printed onto.
