Story
A commentary on Iran’s inability, by the hand of western powers, to have realistic access to extensive nuclear energy— let alone nuclear weapons— despite the US and its allies having virtually unlimited access. The women embody a defiant, Iranian power in the face of Euro-American antagonism. The technicolor and gas mask imagery employed also bring in the artist’s relationship to rave and club culture of the 1990’s.
