- Story
- This was a sort of a renegade show that was originally supposed to be presented in September 2001, as fashion collections are always shown six months ahead of their actual release, but due to the events of September 11th in New York City, the show was abruptly cancelled. It was assumed that because the designs relied heavily on West Asian/Middle Eastern styles, particularly the Qajar period of Iran, the show would face too much backlash and had to be curtailed. However, true to their rebellious natures, Sears and Mortazaie rescheduled the show for just a month later, in October 2001.
