- Story
- Copenhagen is a fictional account of a real-life meeting during World War II between two physicists, Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg. Bohr is devastated to learn that his native Denmark has been occupied by the Third Reich, and that his former student and colleague, Werner Heisenberg, is working to harness the power of the atom for Germany's forces. - Using Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, the play deals with the difficult issues of scientists’ and intellectuals' collaborations with dictators. Hamid Ehya's translation of this play in 2007 won the best translation of the year award by the Iranian Association of Theater Artists.
