Sylvester (September 6, 1947 – December 16, 1988) was a singer-songwriter known for his disco hits, including You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real), and his flamboyant personal style. He was openly gay and defied the gender binary. The footage includes live performances by Sylvester, including his performance at the 1985 Cable Car Awards.
