400 West Block of Castro Street - 1985
About This Item
400 West Block of Castro Street; Cafe Orient still has Grand Opening signup. Closer up the street with the blue awning is the Norse Cove. The Norse Cove began in the late 60s as a restaurant featuring Norwiegan deli foods and open-faced sandwiches, a reflection of the Scandanavians who settled in the Castro. Later, the Norse Cove will drop the "Norse" and become "The Cove on Castro."
