Hibernia Bank on the Corner of Castro & 18th Street - 1981

About This Item

Hibernia Bank on the Corner of Castro & 18th Street. This shows the new annex and entrance for Hibernia; The Castro street side featured a small landscaped area that quickly became a place to pose and to cruise. Today, in spite of the bank's name change, the area is still known as Hibernia Beach. At Christmas, a huge tree is erected on the site.
