Pottery Barn on Market & Castro Street - 2002
About This Item
Originally built as a Fireman's Union Building, but occupied by Pottery Barn when the union moved. When Emeritus Professor Max Kirkeberg was giving a walking tour for the Elder Hostel he would say most fireman in San Francisco were gay. The real reason fireman chose this location is because it is close to the geographic center of the City.
