1493-1499 on McAllister and Scott Street - 1993, detail
About This Item
1493, 1495, 1497, and 1499 on the southeast corner of McAllister and Scott Street. An elaborate Italian style, that has just been repainted. Some Victorian experts say that when there is this much depth in the facades, that and the resulting shadows are sufficient without all these extra colors. This is comparable to a very beautiful woman wearing too much makeup.
