South side of McAllister, west of Pierce Street - 1995

About This Item

Building at the far left is an Edwardian that comes out to the sidewalk. The second building in light gray and white is a brand new stick-style Victorian on what had been a one-story garage. Because it is located in the historic district, the new building had to blend in with the Victorian styles. In February of 1995 the current two condo building was finished and up for sale. Each unit has 3 bedrooms, two baths and has access to a sundeck and a fireplace. The building has an elevator and all the units are rentals. The Victorian facade was required because new building in a historic district must be compatible with the landscape.
