Victorian and Edwardian flats on the southside of McAllister Street - 1997
About This Item
Victorian and Edwardian flats on the southside of McAllister Street, mid-block between Scott and Pierce Street. The middle building behind the telephone pole is a new replacement of a one-story garage. The facade is intended to resemble a Victorian stick-style. Around 1994 the garage was demolished and by February 1995 the current 2-condo building was finished and up for sale. Each unit has 3 bedrooms, two baths and has access to a sundeck and a fireplace. The building has an elevator and all the units are rentals. The Victorian facade was required because new building in a historic district must be compatible with the landscape.
