700 block of Steiner from Alamo Square - 2004

The bulk of the tall buildings to the left of the Transamerica building are hotels or tall residential buildings. The hotel on Nob Hill isthe Mark Hopkins. To the far left is St. Mary's Cathedral and Cathedral Hill Redevelopment high-rises. To the right of the Transamerica building is the Hartford on California, and the tall black building is Bank of America. The next cluster tends to be hotel towers in the Union Square area. The last of the cluster to the right and slightly closer to us is the federal building.
