South at west side of Webster from Grove Street - 1995
About This Item
Landscape is a mix of Victorians and Classic Revivals, including a 3 story apartment building. This is the block where Webster Street, thanks to Redevelopment, widens. Redevelopment made Webster a major north-south street by removing all the buildings on the east side of Webster Street, thus making the width of Webster Street wide enough for several lanes of traffic each way . Grove Street, to the right, begins the wider Webster. This continues for eleven blocks, ending at Bush Street.
