View north from Holly Park to the top of Bernal Heights - 1983
About This Item
Looking north/northeast along Bocana Street. This is the only street to run from Holly Park to Bernal Heights. Efforts to plant a boulevard of trees have not been fully successful. In the background are Diamond Heights and Mount Davidson. Holly Court was the first public housing built in San Francisco under the New Deal during Franklin Roosevelt's terms as President. The empty lot on the right side has now acquired a shingled-3 story building.
