About This Item

Panorama taken from above Powhattan Avenue and Nebraska Street. Nebraska Street ends at the bottom of the hill at Cortland Avenue; going up on the right towards the horizon is Putnam Street. The buildings on either side of Nebraska Street are identical, suggesting that they were built at the same time by the same developer. The block was probably filled with greenhouses (for flowers) in the past. See slide from 1987 for a better view of the west side of Nebraska Street.
