About This Item

Poles demonstrating the proposed height of buildings to be built. The neighborhood fought this development until 2013, when two smaller units were built. The view through the proposed structure is of the pedestrian overpass over Army/Cesar Chavez Street and Rolph Playground. Beyond it are the old and new buildings of San Francisco General Hospital. The trees beyond are from McKinley Square on Potrero Hill.
