Site of proposed construction in the middle of the block bounded by York Street, Hampshire Street, Peralta Avenue, and Army/Cesar Chavez Street - 1995
About This Item
Taken from 44 Peralta Avenue. The dry grass near the bottom of the slide is the vacant space in the middle of this block. As of 2015, nothing has been built, but development is still considered. The view, which is west, includes the Leonard Flynn Elementary School (red buildings), and Precita Park to its left (trees). Beyond the park are two taller buildings associated with St. Luke's Hospital, and the hills beyond that are part of Diamond Heights.
