From Peralta Avenue steps at Rutledge Street - 2005 (panorama 1 of 3)
About This Item
Looking at the Mission District; the tall white building, a telecommunications building, is at 25th and Capp Street. The hill seen beyond is Buena Vista Hill, with the old St. Joseph's Hospital in front of the trees; this was later converted to condominiums. On the horizon at left are Twin Peaks and Sutro Tower disappearing into the clouds. At the far right-center is Leonard Flynn Elementary School (with the mural). In the trees to its left is Precita Park. Just above the school are the roofs of the re-built Bernal Dwellings public housing.
