Looking southwest from 917 Rhode Island Street - 1978
About This Item
Telephoto of Peralta Ridge, with the first block of Peralta Avenue being the closest to the freeway. The freeway across the lower part of the photo is the entrance ramp to the Highway 101 South freeway. The grass on the right is part of Rolph Playground. The long building in front of the ramp was associated with a group known as "The Farm," an intentional community that started here and later moved to Tennessee. See related slide from 1985.
