Peralta Heights from Potrero del Sol Park - 1986
About This Item
The on-ramp to the Highway 101 South freeway is visible here. The new park, Potrero del Sol, is shown in the foreground. This section was later converted into a skateboard park. The first block of Peralta Avenue and the point of Peralta Ridge is prominent in the background. The open space (known by the neighborhood as the Mesa) is state property connected to the freeway. Note the steps leading from Peralta Avenue down to Army/Cesar Chavez Street.
