Looking north from 44 Peralta Avenue - 1983, (panorama 2 of 3)
About This Item
Compare with view from 2010 - the trees have grown and mostly block out the view from 44 Peralta Avenue. At the bottom is Army Street; above that is Rolph Playground with two baseball diamonds and basketball courts. The street at right is Potrero Avenue, and the cluster of high-rises at the end of Potrero are mostly hotels either in the Union Square area or on Nob Hill. At right some of the new park is visible, and beyond that are the buildings of San Francisco General Hospital and a touch of Potrero Hill.
