About This Item

Built in 1875 for Adam Miller on land he bought in 1868 - land later known as the Mountain Springs Tract. The windows were later enlarged to improve the view. His daughter married Behrend Joost, President of the Mountain Springs Water Company, so the house became company headquarters for several years.
