Note the streetcar tracks go on Noe Street one block only before turning right onto 17th Street to Market Street. The lowest point of the street is 18th Street, the site of a former stream feeding Mission Bay. In 1906, along 18th Street, there was significant earthquake damage. The hill beyond is Dolores Heights.
