The streets running from lower left to upper right are 19th (top left corner), 18th, and 17th intersected by Market Street. The horizontal streets are Noe (lower right corner), Hartford, Castro, Collingwood, and Diamond. This is a great view of the heart of the commercial district of the Castro, from Market Street to 19th Street. The most distinctive building on these two blocks is the Castro Theater. One block west on 18th Street is the white-roofed Cala Market (at the time) just up the block from Collingwood Park. At the top is the Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
