From the lower right corner is Market Street, 17th Street, Ford Street ending at Noe Street, 18th Street, then 19th Street. Running horizontally are Noe, Hartford, Castro, Collingwood, Diamond, and Eureka streets. This is a great view of the heart of the commercial district of the Castro, from Market Street to 19th Street. The most distinctive building on these two blocks is the Castro Theater. One block west on 18th Street is the white-roofed Cala Market (at the time) just up the block from Collingwood Park. At the top is the Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
