Telephoto of Market Street and Castro Street from Twin Peaks - 2014
About This Item
At the intersection of Market Street and Castro Street is the large Gay Freedom Day flag. Market Street itself is now lined with trees, including trees in the median. The Castro Theater stands out on Castro Street. Coming forward, the Most Holy Redeemer Church on Diamond Street is visible. At the bottom middle are the turrets of Nobby Clark's Folly Mansion. In the upper middle are Sanchez Elementary School and Everett Middle School; above it, near the right edge of the slide, are three towers -two are from the basilica of Mission Dolores and the one on the right is the steeple of Saint Matthew's Lutheran Church. Above and to the left, with he rounded roof, is the Armory.
