This branch of the San Francisco Public Library was named for Harvey Milk after his assassination 1978. Recently, its address changed to 1 Jose Sarria Court instead of 1 Pond Street. Jose Sarria was renowned in San Francisco for appearing as the "widow of Emperor Norton."
