West northwest from 20th Street and San Bruno Avenue - 1978

Highway 101 is at the bottom of the slide, then comes a narrow band of homes and then the industrial area of the Mission District. Toward the right middle is a building with a white tower, which is located at Alabama Street and 17th Street. On the horizon at the far left is Buena Vista Hill, and below it to its right are the twin towers of St. Ignatius Church on Fulton Street. Then there is another small hill, which must be Lone Mountain. Finally, the hills on the right are the Marin Headlands and in the center below the horizon is a rounded-roofed brick building, which is the drill court of the Armory. To its right is a bit of the central freeway.
