The 1970's white hospital is brand new. The U-shaped brick building to its lower left is about to be demolished for a parking lot. The long building with a white roof sits in a block owned by the city, and these structures will be demolished for a new parking garage. The street that is at the lower left corner is 24th Street, and then going towards the hospital is 23rd Street which goes above the freeway. Highway 101, including Hospital Curve, is the dominant feature on the right side. At the bottom right, just off 23rd Street is the old Dutch Boy Paint Co., and its old water tower. In the upper right corner is McKinley Square, the park on Potrero Hill, and its right side is Potrero Hill's answer to Lombard Street on Vermont Street.
