Yosemite - Glacial Moraine/Till
About This Item
Image of glacial moraine/till along the side of a road in Yosemite. Glacial moraines are formed when glaciers pick up rock material as they move or cause landslides and rock falls when they scrape through valleys. The rock material is then deposited in large mounds and becomes a moraine.
