Erratics in Fissures - Taft Point

Photo of erratic rock in a fissure at Taft Point in Yosemite.  An erratic is a transported rock that doesn't match the local bedrock of the area it has settled in.  These occurr when glaciers pick the rocks up and transport them as they move or melt.
