Erratics and Exfoliation in Yosemite

Photo of erractic rock and exfoliation in the granitic rock of Yosemite.  Erractics are transported rock material that don't match the local bedrock of the area it has settled in.  These occurr when glaciers pick the rocks up and transport them as they move or melt.  Exfoliation is the weathering and falling off of rock in large boulders or slabs.
