Ashley Toliver and Jason Bayani: September 17, 2020

The Poetry Center presents a reading by Ashley Toliver, Poetry Center Book Award-winner for her book of poems, Spectra (Coffee House Press, 2018), preceded by a reading by award judge, Jason Bayani. Bayani reads from his book Locus (Omnidawn Publishing, 2019), and inroduces Toliver, who reads from Spectra. Their readings are followed by a conversation between the poets and in response to questions from the audience, along with emcee, Brent Awa Jensen, Poetry Center staff and MFA candidate at San Francisco State.
