For Anne Boyer: December 6, 2014

The Poetry Center presents "a reading in love and solidarity" for poet Anne Boyer, organized as a benefit to raise funds for the poet's well-being as she was struggling with serious health concerns, and to raise the spirits of all concerned. Participants include Bay Area poets Jasper Bernes, Brandon Brown, David Buuck, Samantha Giles, Lauren Levin, Juliana Spahr, Alli Warren, and Stephanie Young. The event took place at Ruth's Table — named for late artist Ruth Azawa, whose work table graced the room —, at the time located in the Bethany Center on Capp Street in San Francisco's Mission District.
