Joshua Marie Wilkinson and Sandy Florian: April 17, 2014

The Poetry Center presents a reading and conversation with Joshua Marie Wilkinson and Sandy Florian. Wilkinson, reads first, from his book of poetry The Courier's Archive & Hymnal (Sidebrow Books, 2013). Florian follows, reading from her books of fiction, On Wonderland & Waste (Sidebrow Books, 2010) and Boxing The Compass (Noemi Press, 2013). 

Wilkinson and Florian then sit down and take questions and comments from the audience on a range of topics from prose to self-identification as an author, and much more. The writers are introduced by John Cleary, co-publisher with Kristine Leja of Sidebrow Books.

Wilkinson and Florian sit down and take questions from the audience, regarding their ideas around working in prose, their self-identification as writers, the art incorporated into their books, among other subjects, in a generous exchange.
