Rodrigo Toscano and Gillian Conoley: March 6, 2024
The Poetry Center presents Gillian Conoley and Rodrigo Toscano, reading from their work in San Francisco, at Medicine for Nightmares bookstore and galeria on 24th Street in the Mission. Conoley, who lives in Marin County just north of San Francisco, reads from her book Notes from the Passenger (Nightboat Books, 2023). Toscano, vistiting from New Orleans, Louisiana, reads from a new manuscript titled Whitman—Cannonball—Puebla. The drawings on the wall of the gallery are by Mission-based muralist Anthony Jimenez.
