Robert Hass and Peter Everwine: May 10, 1973

The Poetry Center presents Robert Hass and Peter Everwine, reading their poetry. Hass reads from his first book, Field Guide (Yale University Press, 1973), awarded the Yale Series of Younger Poets prize. Everwine reads from Collecting the Animals (Atheneum, 1973), awarded the Lamont Poetry Prize. Kathleen Fraser, new director of The Poetry Center that Spring, introduces the poets, at San Francisco State University.
