George Stanley and Lewis Ellingham: October 26, 2013

The Poetry Center presents George Stanley, visiting from Vancouver, BC, and Lewis Ellingham, of San Francisco, reading from their work. Both poets present brief readings from recent work. (Though a planned two sets from each poet is announced, unfortunately only the first set by each poet appears on this video.) Ellingham reads from his book Objects II. Stanley reads from Gentle Northern Summer (1995) and Vancouver: A Poem (2008; both from New Star Books). The event takes place at the erstwhile Meridian Gallery, on Powell Street near Union Square, San Francisco. Steve Dickison makes the introductions. Stanley, two days earlier, had presented his work and talked extensively with his audience at The Poetry Center.
