Please note: This 'kinescope' recording was originally made in c1958 by filming the picture from a live video monitor. The picture quality - especially sharpness - is much lower than the rest of our footage produced on 16mm film. Program III of KPIX-TV's c1958 series 'We Believe', which looks at different religious faiths in the Bay Area. This episode is presented by Dr John Von Rohr of the Pacific School of Religion and examines the Vedanta Society's emphasis on the universality of all religions and the realization of self. Includes scenes of Rohr interviewing Swami Shradhananda, Assistant Pastor at San Francisco's The Old Temple and Dr Nancy Tilden, Professor of Philiosphy & Religion at San Francisco State College. This program was produced and directed by Dave Parker.
